Ouch, I thought I was the only one who got a permaban for cancelling membership while being banned. I also think, after the initial move here, he was told that he needed to retain membership over there. I think that 247 relies on tRCMB, Bucknuts and BamaOnline to sell the advertisers, that they have the traffic needed to charge whatever they charge. I think a serious drop in traffic would hurt 247, so Trevor went and asked a few of the posters if they would take a free trial of 247, as long as they didn't post over here.

Or I have too much time on my hands, because right now it is slow as shit at work.

I'm sure the deal with 247 sounded like the perfect solution to the alleged vBulletin security issues, and fit nicely with plans to grow the family. I'm not sure anybody could have forseen 247's technical ineptitude and lack of focus on message board features, but there are consequences. I'm torn between hoping 247 dies in an aids-related fire and wishing Trevor nothing but the best.
