If you think I have that kind of power with intentions of running anyone off you have a much higher opinion of what I can do than myself.

Rocket Watts was a great HS/AAU talent. Between COVID pretty much wiping out months of coaching and injuries he alluded to when he said goodbye to MSU he lost what he had earlier.

I think Watts has got a lot of upside if he gets with the right coach. If he doesn’t or has more injuries he’ll be another what could have been like Appling.

When I first saw Appling take over HS games and his performances in state semi’s and finals I thought MSU would be lucky to have him for 2 years. But he injured his wrist, never returned to his old form and lost his way after MSU.
