Daily Vacation spending to Daily income ratio?????

What is it on average for you guys?  It’s an interesting stat to me.  We are all at different walks of life. Some with family, some single. Some with grown children , some without. Have you ever done that math?  

Looking back, some of my best vacations are probably 3:1 with all family. 2:1 with the wife and I.  Talking everything. From tickets to planes hotels food entertainment etc. I know in country and out of country also swing it.   

I’ve done 4:1 a few times.  5:1 once. I was bored and looking at old tax returns. (I’m a loser). 

Have you guys ever thought of that?   Just wondering.

The sequel is rarely as good as the original.

Never looked at it that way before. I’d have a real hard time spending more that 2-3 times on a vacation but only because I make a shit load of money.

I’m pretty much a poor. I can only afford so much vacation. Sometimes I save. Sometimes I dip into my savings. But I was doing math today. I’m guessing many of us don’t think in that way. Total earnings divided by days worked. Total vacation spending divided by days of vacation. Ratio. I’m 59. Ever thought of it in those terms. I’m just curious
