What's sad is Bobby is going to have an outrage graph in about a week that shows people are much more upset about the 13 American troops in Afghanistan than the 600,000 plus thousands Americans dead from Covid.

Are you saying we all should be equally outraged regarding those two events?

Personally I blame GW Bush for the 13 dead military personnel, as I do for all the dead from the two wars he had no reason to start.

As for the over 1 Million dead due to covid, that is a mixed bag. Experts say that Trump could have prevented a majority of the deaths, but I ask, at what cost? However, creating outrage and making everything political, as he did, was not helpful, to say the least.

Only speaking for myself, however getting out a war in which nothing was getting done and the military hadn't a clue as to what to do to be effective at it is worth the short term pain.

Regroup on what to do to help make Afghanistan better - and how to deal with people who want to commit horrible crimes, which has always been a policing, not war fighting military issue.
