Honestly, we will always have opinions about kids opting out or staying. Or leaving school early in bball or whatever. We will also most certainly express it. But whatever a kid does it’s really not one iota of our business. We e all seen msu bball players go early that shouldn’t have and now we’re going to see opt out players. This should be merged with the playoff/bowl thread... if the game is meaningless, then none of them should be playing. Football is violent. So... make the games after the season meaningful.
Lower bowl Play-ins, byes for ranking... get every game to theoretically mean something.
Otherwise, every future pro should stop playing in the season the second the NC is out of the picture.

Well, like Obamacare does with health insurance, they should utilize the existing bowls as a part of it. Winner of the gator bowl plays in the orange bowl, etc... then there can be competitive games people want and the bowl committees can get paid/free golf year round.

In 2015, when we got hopelessly destroyed by alabama in the semifinals, and they went on to win the championship game. so we lost to the best team which… little consolation at the time. Going into this game though, what if Michigan got destroyed by Georgia who then puts up a similar performance against alabama to what they did last month and loses convincingly? Isn’t that a little bit worse for wal marters than losing to the eventual champion would be?

I say root for alabama purely out of spite.

UM losing to MSU is better for UM than MSU beating UM is to MSU.
