First he said this: "Flu typical kill less than 10k." Setting aside the grammar, flu typically kills MORE than 10k and usually 2-5x more.

Next he said: "Covid increase deaths last year by 40% from normal."

I took this to mean that he is saying COVID deaths are up 40%. If he really means COVID has increased influenza deaths by 40% above normal he is still way off.

No he meant that total death rates increased by 40% over normal, so if normally 100 people died then since covid 140 people died instead of all causes, including covid. Not that covid death rates increased by 40%.

The CDC says the flu kills between 12k to 50k per year, I just used the lower number and factored in 2021, when flu infections were way down.

One Justice tried to compare Covid to the flu during arguments. The flu and Covid are orders of magnitude different in their health and mortality effects. Probably about 10K died in 2020 due to the flu (masking and social distancing really helped reduce the flu that year) while hundreds of thousands died and more have lifetime complications from covid.

Another Justice tried to point this out with an incorrect statement, which was only incorrect because of the word, "children".

The MSM picked up on the second Justices mistake but has been ignoring the larger mistake of the first Justice. The first Justice apparently believing that covid is no worse than the flu voted to kill people in places where they work.

This is all fine because what? That the second Justice miss-spoke, while the first Justice was flat out wrong about the flu verses covid, and voted to allow people to get sick and die, because he was wrong, when they have to go to work to live?

Sorry, but these Justices are supposed to be above being misled by RWNJ media propaganda.

That is what this is all about, not just what the one Justice said about children when she mis-spoke.
