Need a belt?
Got a text today from a friend that retired from automotive manufacturing a few years ago. Started a new business with his wife and kids. Their shop is in downtown Romeo. Knowing him, the products are top notch. Watch the vids in the link.

I'm no mechanic, but I don't think those are going to fix Michigan Tech's bus.

Put a call into him but got voicemail. I'm curious about the name "zeho". His wife is one of the nicest people I've ever known.

Interesting. That is expensive for a belt. But my husband does go through them pretty quickly. I think I could give it a go and buy one to see how it holds up. Thanks for sharing.

We're cheap then. Only belts we've bought are in the $20-40 range

It's like they are talking directly to you
Most Box stores sell for $20-$40
Mostly made overseas
Labeled as genuine leather
Typically several layers of low-grade leather bonded together
Painted for appearance
Does not last - This picture, was Bob's belt that lasted only 6 months

I’m thinking of switching to push pins and thumb tacks.

Shoelaces are even cheaper, and it’s always two-for-one.

A grill that lasts 10 years is going to be more expensive than a grill that lasts 2-3 years.
That is my analogy.

Re: Need a belt?
I've had both... I am back to the 2-3 year ones because I can buy 5 of them for the same $ as one 10 year.NigelUno wrote:

Not the best for the environment I suppose, but that's the way the market has been created.
