Message board bits that you miss

Being Good Friday, I thought about LWS and how every year during lent he would make it a point to casually talk about how much meat he was eating each Friday for that 6 weeks. It was as if this were a Catholic message board and he was being a master troll that would get under peoples skin, as opposed to the reality that is a sports message board and no one really gave a shit. I thought it was funny. It always made me wonder why that particular Catholic thing bothered him so much to the point where not a Friday could go by without being like “I ate bacon”. Anyway, what bits or schticks make you feel like reminiscing about them?

Two things I always used to look for here or on TOB, because it always happened:
•Easter morning, someone would start a thread with “He is risen” and as the morning wore on, of course you could count on seeing things like “He is raisin” and “He is Rison”.

•The other post that shows up every late summer/early fall, right before the first football game of the season, when someone declares they’re ready to put their fist through a wall, then someone posts a gif of that happening.

•As for LWS, I enjoyed his playing martyr. As for his religious beliefs, my guess is he attends the Church of the I got mine, screw you. Of course,  I don’t know that for certain, but it seems logical.

Generally speaking, I’m not a fan of fake tits, especially those reaching bowling ball proportions. But he digs ‘em like that, so he’s able to keep himself happy. Which is nice.

It had to be a few years after the original posting, but still something that was bumped or reposted every year, and apparently someone copied it into an email (no credit to Kid Wok, of course).

It was really Madarich. He posted a picture of himself holding a paper that said RCMB or something that referenced the board.

IIRC, he’d started his own photography biz by then, right? I think he also posted a pic of his wife/fiancé/gf. There were quite a few on TOB who couldn’t contain their geekiness and eventually Mandarich stopped showing up.
