I have zero inside knowledge - but if you read between the lines, I think it is pretty clear that is the case.

That said, I don't think MSU was unfair to her - at some point you need win and we haven't been above .500 in the B1G in the last 6 years.  The team seemed to be on slow steady decline that was not going to be reversed without a change.

It might be a bit more complex than that, such as a disagreement as to if her health would allow her to continue coaching.  She may have believed she could continue, Hollman & MSU might have believed she could not safely continue.

edit - meaning, as noted, the rumor wasn't true, but there possibly was a cause for it, if CMU reached out to Suzy for her opinion of Haynie.

I don't have any details regarding Suzy and her departure from MSU. I suspect that she's a smart lady and has consulted with attorneys if she plans on making an accusation of wrongful termination.

Regardless, to the best of my knowledge, at that point, everything can then be made public, including whatever health issues she has been dealing with. This could potentially be information relative to her dismissal that could be disclosed as 'cause', either partial or in full.

again, I have no details but I suspect there is more to the story than wins/losses. I believe Alan Haller knows that and that he made certain that all i's were dotted and t's were crossed.

I’m curious about this, but I’m also thinking maybe I don’t want to know. Sucks if it wasn’t mutually agreed upon and what both parties wanted.

Just watched the interview and Suzy didn't say anything controversial. Said she will focus on her health and family.
But also didn't rule out coaching again.
