I’m not going to say he went rogue. Collins has been the consumate team player his entire career here. More likely, he had a brain fart and forgot he needed to center the ball and instead tried to make some yardage after seeing a wall of red where he was supposed to be running. Or maybe he wasn’t told by coaches to center it, which would be an even bigger problem.

Agreed. Never should’ve been in such a dire position, but every Spartan football fan, at least those of a certain age, knows about MSU blowing big leads.

It’s and buts all freakin season.

Today score a TD on the first possession with 1st and goal after pass interference put the ball n the 2 yd line. Settle for an FG (-4 point opportunity)

Miss a short FG (-3 point opportunity)

Both those happen and there’s likely no OT needed and MSU’s going bowling regardless of what happens next week.

I’ve never coach football but have a hard time understanding why an OC can’t call plays to get a TD from the 2 to open a game, home or on the road.

The DC and most of his staff need to go. They are at the bottom or near the bottom of the Big Ten in too many categories to justify why most shouldn’t be shown the door.

Nah, Minnesota was way lower. We’ve already accepted what we are at this point rather than having hope like we did before that game.
