Did the Covid Shock to the Economy Permanently Change the World?

Reading about how a percentage of the population is reluctant to rejoin the work force due to fears about covid & a percentage of the population retired and found they liked it and are not coming back into the workforce due to covid which all has reduced the Labor Force Participation rates, which then has forced businesses to increase wages, which then has the Fed clutching its "pearls" because all the people who make decisions at the Fed cannot hire landscaping & household help at minimum wages anymore leads to the question of if this is a permanent change to the economy, fewer workers in the labor force?
