Your Christmas dinner plans
I'm geeked! Haven't made in a while. The base recipe and method are solid. Results are never exactly the same but always good. Shopping fresh peppers tomorrow. Gonna throw in some pecan-smoked turkey breast from the freezer.

I just did a crab and shrimp Bisque in the crockpot, took four hours of cook in the crockpot, but it was damn good. I will look for the recipe and post it here.

As for Christmas Day we’re going to hang with some cousins so I have no idea what we’re having.

Bring ham.Travis of the Cosmos wrote:I have a silly amount of ham in my fridge right now and the two events I was hosting are now delayed due to the weather. My wifes dads family was to come over tomorrow. Have a 4.5 lb ham for them. That’s rescheduled to tbd now. My family was to come over Saturday, 8.5 lb ham for them, that’s now rescheduled to Monday. To make the ham matters worse, a neighbor found out we had a baby and got us… a ham. 4 lb I think. These are all honey baked so they’re good but still fuck me. So much ham.

Chili with turkey is spelled Chilli.
Because it's not real Chili.

I don’t think that’s bad but I also don’t think that you can speak of this feeling to anyone else ever again.

I’m staying in Denver with just a sibling and it feels kind of nice to have pretty much nothing on the agenda. Im sure it’ll hit me at times not to be around everyone but next year

Forgot the condiments...green onion, blue corn chips, sour cream, cilantro, shredded cheddar. No way going back to the store. Ordered instacart delivery from Kroger. Went to apply a Kroger gift card got at work few years ago at checkout. Thought they never expired...apparently, they do.
