You know it wasn't just his fault, or even mostly his fault, from what we learned during the discovery phase of the settled suit, but the Mudrocks aren't going to fire themselves, and someone's head has to roll. It wouldn't be a surprise to see more big names being retired including the CEO of Fox News.

Fox must be EXTREMELY confident that the former producer has the goods in them/Carlson to the point where Fox is pretty confident they’ve fired him with cause and would win Carlsons case against them.

Hannity opened his show last night with about 10 minutes of Hunter Biden. When he got around to Trump, his lead was he was cleared of rape. Yeah, I watch sometimes just to see how ridiculous he is.
