Mrs. GW would run out of the house screaming, stopping briefly only to put a For Sale sign up in the front yard.

The responses to that tweet were pretty funny. No idea what it is, but upon seeing it I would say with 98% certainty that it's Australian because weird ass shit has evolved there.

I was kind of hoping one of you would know whether that’s real or not. Well, I was kind a hoping one of you could tell me that it’s bullshit. Or worst case scenario one of you could tell me that it’s a bug on the other side of the world, and if it crosses the equator and evaporates. I’m really hoping it’s fake and I never see it in real life.

I didn't see shit like this in Nicaragua and I definitely don't wanna see it in East Lansing.

Didn’t Greenway have one of those as a pet back in the Mesozoic era?

Run into some weird bugs, but that thing can't be real.
Kids found a caterpillar in the backyard shrubs. Huge and very weird looking. Multi-colored, about an inch in diameter and 5 inches long. Took pictures to the Troy Nature Center and they identified as a cecropia moth, biggest in North America. Hardly move on the branch for a few days then was gone. Speculated it got eaten by a bird.
FIL had a nice garden in Carlsbad, CA. Flew back and forth to Detroit often. Knew I liked rapini and brought me a 10# bag one trip. Tossed it in the fridge. Opened a couple days later to find a huge insect I'd never seen before, still alive. Moved very slow after being in the cold and was able to get it into a container to observe. Researched to discover it was a Jerusalem cricket, common to the coast of Mexico and into CA. Emailed both the Detroit Zoo and MSU entomology departments asking what to do with it. Guy from MSU replied first and told me to kill it immediately rather than let it go in the backyard. No idea why he was so adamant.
Detroit Zoo got back to me maybe a week later saying they wanted it. Would have brought it there but it had already croaked. Bugger was damn fast after it got warm. Would do laps around the container in a second if you bumped it. Probably had a heart attack.

Exhibit A of why anyone who moves south is crazy.
The cold winters kills off stuff like that.

Every moment of every interaction I have with women is fake, and not just the women faking it; you should also include me trying too hard to get laid. Rico Suave I am not.

I don’t think it’s real, but if it is, I agree w/Travis that it’s two of whatever it is trying to make more of whatever they are.
