Back to action this weekend with a single game tonight against the USNTDP at Munn, 7PM BTN+.

MSU's places in the Pairwise and USCHO rankings were unchanged this week, 7th in both.

Wish they'd have a game against the USNTDP in Plymouth. That would be an easy hike for me, and I'd quite enjoy being back in the arena for the first time since the Whalers broke my heart.

USNDTP is playing in Yost tomorrow night if you want to go scout some recruits.

Seriously, though, playing in Plymouth would be really cool for Southeast MI MSU hockey fans.

On a somewhat related note, has anyone ever gone to a USNTDP game? I've been wanting to check it out for a while, but a friend of mine went recently and said that it's alright, but that you definitely feel like you are at a kid's hockey game. Anyone able to confirm?

Get some really wide tape, write the name "Scallions" on the back, tape it to the back of your shirt.

Damn, I just tried getting tickets to a game at Munn and had to rub my eyes when I saw the price. Tickets STARTING at $75. We've come a long way since the days of MSUFCU aggressively trying to give tickets away on Facebook. It's awesome to see MSU Hockey is such a hot ticket item now, but I'll have to be content with following from afar this year.

Guys that were on campus in the early 80s to mid 80s. It was standing room only for tickets. By far the hardest ticket to get was the hockey ticket.

lol I’m so old it cost $36 for a season ticket, but demand was so great you only got half the home games (A or B package). You had to make sure some friends were requesting the opposite of what you were getting so as to be covered for every game.

For Michigan maybe. Tickets are cheaper for Minnesota and Ohio State.

The Wings have a 21 year old goalie in front of him playing in GR right now. That should slow him down a little.
