Seems like we need to up our cred, and I figured any message board that was home to a killer would be considered badass. That could boost our numbers heading into football season.
We can promote having Pervis here, but it would be nice going into the season with a two-pronged attack.

Come to think.of it, one of the modules I worked on was claimed in a lawsuit to have caused the death of people in several accidents, that might count...

EE degree I assume.  Took EE 275 (Consumer Electronics) as an elective and got a 4 point.

Prof was an older dude (forget his name) you may have run into.  He seemed adamant that voltage shouldn't be considered electrical pressure, though it still is to me.  Made us pic a topic and write a paper that counted for most of the grade.  Gave me the 4.0 but accused me of plagiarizing.

BSEE - yes 1977 on the 5 year plan.

Modeling Ohms Law as water in pipes is a standard analogy which helps the common person understand, however the deeper analogies: Maxwell's Equations; Einstein's postulating photons; Feynman's development of Quatum Eletro-Dynamics; don't directly support the simplistic ideas in Ohms Law, thus he was correct, in the deeper understanding of the physics of Electronics.

However, for the average person, and even for many of the engineering problems the Ohms Law concept of voltage being analogous with pressure works just fine.

Speaking of electrical stuff I was watching Jeopardy the other day and I learned Ampere, well, Ampère was real dude. I had no idea.
