EL locals - Peanut Barrel on gameday
Haven’t been to Peanut Barrel in a few years, willing to get there early so we don’t have to wait for a table. What time do you think would be a safe bet for this Saturday?
TIA.
TIA.

Think it’s standard 11 A.M. till midnight. They might stay open later on Saturday. I’d guess if you were walking by at 10:45 am you could grab an outside table and enjoy a beautiful day for football.

Wish I could help. I haven’t been to the ‘nut for a pregame football Saturday since the early 90s, maybe even before that.

5 pm game means you should be fine between 11am-1pm. Anything after 2 and it will likely be packed and a wait for a table.

also, the "neighborhood entrance" in the back is usually staffed with someone (RIP Don ) telling folks to go around front to get in line. So just hit up the front door to start with.
for folks who might be in town without tickets, just enjoy being on campus on gameday, PB clears out mightily right before kickoff, as everyone is headed to the game. I would say about 100% of the time, we've watched the band march into the stadium, walked back across Grand River and found multiple tables/bar seats open at kickoff.
this probably doesn't apply to the patio, especially on a day like Saturday where they're calling for great weather, but there aren't any TV's set up on the patio, anyway. I do think they play the audio of the game and it is kinda cool to hear the roar of the stadium coming across campus as you listen to whatever might be transpiring on the field.

Duff, Bob- is Google correct that they don’t open until 11? Even on game days?

not sure, but I do know that for noon kick-offs they open at 9:00. I'm assuming for the later kick-off, they follow normal hours.Other Teams Pursuing That wrote:Duff, Bob- is Google correct that they don’t open until 11? Even on game days?

I told them i was OTPT sent by the Sak man!
And they said their hours would be found in page 35 of to kill a mockingbird at the EL Public Library
A riddle of some sort.

Re: EL locals - Peanut Barrel on gameday
Walked past at around 8:30 tonight. Wife and I drove to the west side of the state tonight. We stopped at EL AZ. It was loaded with Washington fans. Didn’t know it but daughter and her boyfriend came up to east Lansing to party and see the game tomorrow. My wife was on her phone up at dinner and says our daughter as at the sushi place next to the PB. So after dinner we walked over. The pb was hopping. That place does damn well I’m thinking

Just got Goodfellas service at PB. Jill met us at the door and escorted us to a reserved section.
Shout out to the folks in the reserved section for allowing my wife and I to infiltrate.

I’m thinking you’re PB royalty.
I’m doing nothing. My wife took me on a 4 mile walk this morning after my coffee and campfire. She asked if I could ignore football until 5 today. So, came back home drove a golf cart to the golf cart repair shop which is less than a mile from our place. She picked me up in our other golf cart. I actually raked our half grass half dirt/sand front and side yard set up our picnic table for dinner tonight took a shower and had a Bloody Mary. PSA:zing zang from the can is horrible. Only use jingles mix or zing zang bottle.
Now I’ve built a fire. Cracked the last summer shanty from the shed fridge. Wife said she’s napping till kick off. I’m gonna break my promise to her as soon as she falls asleep and enjoy a mid day campfire a beer and watching football on my phone.
