Lost another point to the Caps by losing in OT and I believe the Caps have one game in hand. With 10 left it's going to be tough. Would be a big disappointment if the Wings fail to make the playoffs.

They've given us a hell of a season, but I think they are toast. They've continued to improve each year, and the fact that we are even in the conversation at this point in the season is a step in the right direction. Going to need to address the problems on defense, and hopefully find a stud #1 GK in the off season, but it really feels like they are close. Maybe they surprise us and make a run and get some help into the last playoff spot, but it feels like this is it for the season. Ah well. If this is it, it was a good run, boys.

Wings up 4-1 first intermission vs Toronto. Gonna have to sweep Toronto and back to back with the Habs to get in. Pitt and Wash have much tougher schedule. There’s hope!

That was crazy. Listened to the 3rd in car with Ken Kale. Bad time to ice the puck for the Habs.

Bummed they didn’t make it. I really miss playoff hockey. But the last month kinda showed they aren’t there yet.

I don’t watch enough to know they need. Goalie? More skill upfront? You always need a big defenseman (at least we did back in the day). Hopefully Stevie is active in acquiring some missing pieces.
