Real or not, I suspect these types of things will be coming sooner or later. Interesting decision for the player. Fewer games in a college season. Chance to chase a championship. Another year banging coeds. NFL contracts are multi-year though. Risk of injury and potentially losing that or falling down the draft board for a 1 year college deal seems iffy.

I see the allure. Are we gonna reach a point of unlimited eligibility? Seems we’ve reached the point where getting a degree is not even a consideration anymore.
