While I am very jealous of all of you, I hope you know I’m sincerely happy for all of you also. While I think the lions can win this game, just remember, if they don’t, it’s always a progression. You take step one before you take step two on your way to the Super Bowl. It seems like franchises learn along the way how to get better at the playoffs and setting themselves up for them.

So, win or lose, just think about this: it’s January 28 and your lions are playing a very significant game. Everyone of you guys deserves this.

Example two years before they won in 97 they wine their first round lost in the second. One year before 97 they lost in the conference finals. The following year they took the final step. Won an SB


After you win one or two , and I think the lions will, when you get there and are the favorites it sucks losing.

Not true. My first memory is the ice bowl when Bart Starr went in at the one against Dallas. I don’t remember the game but my dad jumped up from his chair ripped his pants and was running around the house. He then ripped them the rest of the way with his hands. He was screaming the whole time.


Scared the shit out of me. I was three or four and didn’t realize he was happy. I think my mom comforted me.


So when the lions win, do something bat shit crazy. The oldest might remember when they’re 62 and laying on the couch with a broken leg.
