New this year: Each bowl gets three scratch-off lottery tickets. The first two tickets are for the teams, while the third decides which network it will be aired. Conceivably, the Rose Bowl could end up on IFC.

No
Rose Bowl game is going to be one of the playoff games. There will be no second game played there, like last year.

If you don't make the playoffs the top 1 or 2 B1G teams may get invited to the Fiesta, Cotton, Peach Chick-Fil-A, or Orange......then down the line to most of the bowls they have had Outback, Orlando something. The Holiday Bowl in San Diego has been added to the B1G list.

Good question, I don't think we have become so jaded that if not a playoff would kill interest in a bowl. There could still be interesting matchups against teams like, USC, LSU, Texas A&M or even ND.

Another good question would be if you make the playoffs, who could afford to go to Pasadena/NewOrleans one week and Dallas 10 days later.
