So... True Detective Season 2 Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn....

Vaughn is a career criminal trying to break into some legit business who gets caught up in a murder of a business partner.  Farrell is a cop.  It's set in California... Seems like rural California.  Will have cult stuff again.

Whaddya think?  

I wasn't really satisfied with how the first series ended and was kind of hoping for some loose ends to be tied up, but it is not to be.

Either way, I like the casting so far. I loved the first season and can't imagine it won't be just as good or better. Can't wait.

I just hope McConaughey hasn't set the bar too high for me

I liked the show, but hated the ending. It was a copout, the whole show led towards a big conspiracy, and all they got at the end was a ****ing lawnmower man. It was a great story, but someone didn't know how to finish it, or got rushed, I don't know. It definitely will make me not pay as much attention to season 2, especially if they are going to lead down a bunch of roads and then at the end find out that the cult is the bus driver and the gas station attendant who were seen in Ep 1 shooting someone in a field.

I felt ripped off, like my time was wasted with how season 1 ended.

That's kind of how I felt too. At least a few clues they made a point that you see that went nowhere was just sloppy.

Any word on when it will air?
