Detroit takes the title of 'Best Sports Town'

In our (USA Today) Readers' Choice contest for Best Sports City, Detroit came out of gate strong and fans of the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings and Pistols - as well as IndyCar followers - stayed competitive. It paid off: Detroit has taken the title as Best Sports City in the USA.

With its plethora of pro teams, and a dazzling IndyCar race at Belle Isle, Motor City offers sports teams a year-round calendar of reasons to visit the city.

Sorry it's boston. Last championship a Detroit team has won was 2008. How many have boston teams brought in from 2008 to now.

Not Buffalo?

We're so loyal to the Bills and Sabres, even though they constantly kick us in the nuts and have a total of ZERO championships, that it's stupid (check out the waiting list to get Sabres season tickets despite being terribad for multiple years).

Detroit has some fantastic fans and probably is the best out of towns with all 4 major leagues represented, but I can't see how any town has better fans than what Buffalo has.

Rochester has more professional league championships than Buffalo.
