I'm busy - I'll try to psychoanalyze this guy a little later. If I have time.

Because humor is just one way people cope with otherwise dark topics. This is the basis for the art form known as comedy, period.

Not everyone handles situations by muttering angrily in the corner waiting for any perceived slight so they can jump in with their self righteousness and look like the white knight morality champion.

Quite a different take from the fluff pieces that were getting written (and I'm guessing pushed by Brandon) when Clark went to the preseason Big Ten meetings.

Also the odds of your daughter being pregnant and unmarried at this age are extremely low, in addition to the fact that the Clark's victim is most likely a virtually powerless person and extremely dependent on Clark for every single type of support. Most of us are unimaginably fortunate that we're not impoverished and uneducated. Am I saying that middle and upper class people don't get arrested for DV? Absolutely not. But more often than not it's the poor.

Yep. Most of the time it's the pours.

I want to agree with you, and do agree he's one massive dude: I'm just not sure where you're getting the "tiny woman" line.

In any event, more fuel for your fire, from another thread (h/t to Loose Goose for the link):

The caller also saw and reported three small children running from the room, with one supposedly saying, "Frank is killing our sister." One child, the victim's brother, said Clark hit his sister....

Perkins police received an emergency call at this time, around 10:30 p.m., regarding a physical domestic dispute with a woman passed out inside the hotel room. At this point, Clark had left the hotel room and ventured outside.

When he arrived on scene, Curran first approached Clark, who allegedly told him "I didn't do s--- to her. I didn't touch that woman. She is a woman."

He went on: “I don't know what they do, what they go through, I don't know what she is going through. I know she is going through some crazy fits, and she may be pregnant."

Michigan player Frank Clark arrested for domestic violence

Frank, read your playbook and go through your progressions. Always assault women in Ann Arbor, in a dorm on campus. Much easier to bury it for 4 years that way.

Now here's an interesting question one wouldn't normally expect from the Blue Wall:

Riley: Why was Frank Clark even still on U-M team?

These guys are so big and in such fantastic shape. To think of them going off on a girl or a child is hard to imagine. After the Ray Rice video, domestic violence is the new line that is drawn and Frank leaped over it.

Who among us could withstand an attack by one of these guys? I would fight back, but I would get my ass kicked.

Articles like that will fit in nicely with a Prez who is considering de-emphasizing football.
