Eastern Michigan Will be a tough test tonight

Although MSU is favored by 13.5, they are comparing EMU's zone to Syracuse.

agree - EMU is pretty darn good and probably one of the quickest teams we'll face this year.. I don't think they're gonna come into the Breslin and leave with a win, but it'll be a good test.

Hurons are good this year. Boykins can get in the lane and Dial is dangerous from the perimeter.

...and former UM commit JaQuan Hart is silky smooth.

That is because UM is not coached by Harbaugh. All losses in football and basketball do not count if the coach was not Saint Harbaugh.

I'm going! First time back in EL in 8 years, and there's a home basketball game. Having dinner with friends at Red Haven beforehand, any good? Bloody cold here though.

Will be interesting to see the approach against this zone. Seems you often see the 4 trying to exploit the foul lane area, but I don't know if Dawson and Clark have the skills so probably Denzel. While we have been a good 3 point shooting team, an offense of passing it around the perimeter and shooting contested jumpers could put us on upset alert.

We've been very good at hitting the mid range jumper this year. If we drive and dish and/or pass well, that should be there all night.

I like the strategy of dishing it down low. They aren't covering Schilling or Costello very well at all. Just keep feeding them the ball.
