Nobody ever talks MSU on 97.1. The only reason it's brought up is because of him. Why don't you guys call in? He's said it a million times, no one wants to talk MSU.

Because I work for a living and can't afford to be on hold for 45 minute waiting to get in a 20 second comment?

How is call in talk radio not a dead concept yet? You'd think that at this point where we all have access to message boards, Twitter, etc people would have more than enough places to vent and discuss their opinions.

I don't listen to 971 much because I just don't care what Jake from Taylor thinks about anything.

I hate the lions and I know they got ripped off.

Mikey is right. Lions had a multitude of screw ups that cost them but it's ways easy to point to one thing.

Stafford just isn't good enough. Lions need to move on.

I agree with your first point. However, the screw ups did not make it any easier on the Lions.

I disagree with your second point. Is Stafford the answer? No. At least it does not look like it right now. Are they going to be able to upgrade? Probably not. It is QB driven league but elite QBs are in short, short supply. Stafford is at that odd place where you want somebody better but would be worse off without him. He is probably somewhere in the mid-to-low 2nd tier of QBs. At the very least, the top of the third tier. It is really hard to upgrade from there but really easy to downgrade if you're not careful. The only way you upgrade at this point is through a trade or FA signing. Both are highly unlikely, and Stafford in nowhere near the kind of bad where you draft a new QB and start over.
