Greg Anthony busted for soliciting a prostitute

Can he do the game tomorrow from the slammer?

WASHINGTON (WJLA) -- ABC7 News has confirmed that CBS sports anchor Greg Anthony has been arrested in a vice sting operation for solicitation of a prostitute.

He is currently in lockup.

Anthony was slated to call Michigan State at Maryland tomorrow for CBS Sports along with Ian Eagle. There’s no word at this time on what CBS plans to do for the telecast.

Clearly, Greg Anthony was doing it wrong. If you're going to hire a prostitute then fucking do it right. Don't ask me how to do it right, I've never hired one, but don't fucking do it wrong and get caught. That's just poor planning.

My bet is that they ignore it, though an "out for personal reasons" wouldn't shock me. I'd bet heavily against any mention of the charged offense.

Why is this a big deal? Anthony was always a good penetrator and could get to the hole with the best of them.
