Look you should have addressed this with him years....I mean years ago. Not necessary his point of view but the terms he uses...when he simply means ghetto trash.

First troy quan now this. Sorry Howard fans but your boy is unlistenable the majority of the times. Don't give me the crap he was the best cause all I know him as from 2010. That dude is washed up completely self absorbed and should retire. I do not relate to old rich guys. Period.

O and a are the only thing relevant on XM and thank got I dumped their stock after the buyout. They simply don't get the internet age and bet everything on a guy that only works 2 days a week on average.

I've been downloading Shaffee Abraham's podcast and listening to it a few days a week. He is a fired WGRD DJ and his sidekick is a video game obsessed dork MSU alumnus who delivers pizzas. It's incredibly stupid, yet very entertaining. FM and XM have been in the shitter the last couple of years.

The only thing I know about Artie Lange is that he blew up Joe Buck's TV show. Buck had no control over Lange. It was real and it was spectacular.

Artie crushed up 4 10mg vicodins, snorted them, and I think threw back a few shooters before going on Buck's show and thought he was making the show funny (what he would do on Stern)... obviously it's a much different audience.

Joe Buck even did the Foreward in Artie's book afterwards, cause Buck isn't as much of a tightwad that he appears to be on TV... water under the bridge.

Hell, Howard let Artie stay on after how many times calling in from suffering heroin withdrawals? Snoozing on air cause he would get high on air, etc.

You guys remember Artie's assistant that he threw shit at and tried to punch, on air, at Howard Stern (Artie loaned him like 10k about was pissed that he hadn't been paid back yet)? That dude just quit the show I think last year or the year before and I ran into him in Williamsburg one night (he now runs a food truck and makes a decent living in Brooklyn)... but he said he was literally fearing for his life because no one could control the hefty Artie... and he just wanted to leave the room but the crew wouldn't let him... because of the radio gold that was being created, obviously.

They even flew to Amsterdam that afternoon for something I forgot. It was a funny story and I remembered the episode when I ran into the guy.

If you like Artie Lange, you should check out the Mark Maron podcast when he had Lange on as a guest. The show last about an hour and a half, and Artie tells some great stories.

Maron asked him how he supported himself as a young comic. Artie said that out of high school, he got a job on the New Jersey docks as a stevedore. He had an uncles who was "connected", and got him hired without the normal wait list or paperwork.

He said he worked for 2 years in the early 90's making about $70k a year. He wasn't really hired in, he just got paid, having never submitted his SS# or a Tax ID. He saved most of the money so he could then move to NYC. When he quit, no one could find any record of him working there.

The show dropped a notch when Jackie left and Howard had no one to tell him off. It took another big fall when Artie left.

Joe Buck looks like a Ken doll. He's terrible. Normally I find Stern and his minions to be obnoxious, but watching Lange run wild, and trash the show in the must juvenile way, was pretty awesome.

Stern's best feature is that he's just one step ahead of traditional media when he use to be 20.

Listening to him bitch about twitter and msgs is hilarious. When he asked his equivalent to Trevor to shut it down on air he should have retired immediately.
