Let's talk pork chops
With the high prices for steak right now pork chops are priced very reasonable.
Whats your go to pork chop recipe? I like mine to be a thick, rib cut. 1-1.5 inches. Sear then finish in oven. Baste with bbq sauce if desired.

Doesn't matter how you cook 'em as long as there's applesauce.

Re: Let's talk pork chops
My favorite is boneless thick cut (1 1/2" to 1 3/4") with a bit of fat on them. Grilled medium (145° and pink inside) with sea salt, coarse black pepper, and a light sprinkle of this on both sides
which is a blend of oregano, rosemary, and garlic with sesame seeds, hot red pepper flakes, sun-dried tomato bits, and lemon zest.
Juicy and delicious

It's awesome, but be careful...a little goes a long way. The red pepper flake is very prominent.The_Dude wrote:Pantry...that rub looks great will pick some up and give it a go.

Buy pre-stuffed chops occasionally in the winter months when I don't feel like pulling the grill out. Convenient and pretty good.Watch Out Pylon! wrote:Stuffed chops or GTFO.

Just boil them for several hours, then serve with pickled eggs.
