Not calling you out Ass, but this is not correct. Pudge did participate when it was at Comerica and I believe he made the finals. 185 lb Pudge (at the time) was hitting like 495 ft HRs off the bricks in LCF. It was absurd. This is when we decided the ball was juiced.

Inge I think was in it a few years later.

I always heard that juicing the ball is a bunch of bs. I thinks it's just a conspiracy theory.

Ok. I love what JV has given them to this point. But it's danger zone. I agree with your earlier post steve. If he gets into trouble here, pull him with his confidence high.

Rod just summed it up well. Every outting he's gotten better now it is time to just get him a win.

Great outting overall. If we can have this verlander for the rest of the season and pick up another ace we could make the playoffs easily IMO.

I don't think this is real. The truth is somewhere in the middle.

He Kd 6 tonight. That is super encouraging. He also struck out 5 (I think) in his last outing. He'll be a decent starter.

Fell asleep after the top of the 9th. Woke up around 2:30 and the FSD replay was on bottom of the 8th. What a disaster

So yesterday was brutal. One of those days at the job where I'm ready to hand in my two weeks.

Also, that mouse that the cat found last night made my life a living hell. The mouse got away and my fiancé fucking freaked out all night. She blew up at me for not taking it serious because i just wanted to go to sleep. She had to have the lights on and I had to go looking around the house for the damn thing while i was exhaused. I even offered to just pay for a hotel room down the street which easily would have been over 200.00.

Btw, add in that the tigers had an epic collapse while this mouse fiasco started. Fucking awfull. All I can say is today is a new day.

So the odds of adding a mouse to your sex life are pretty low?

Tigers just picked up another former rangers BP arm that they cut. Our bullpen has become the rangers garbage bin and it shows.

Trust me on this.....worth a read.

Tigers’ Anibal Sanchez, Mariners’ Rich Donnelly have special connection

For six innings on Wednesday, the pitcher never looked at the third-base coach and the third-base coach never looked at the pitcher. If they crossed paths after an inning, their eyes were fixed at their feet or in the stands or toward their own respective dugouts.

It’s just easier that way for the two men, who have little in common — age, country or upbringing. One is a grizzled baseball lifer, tough as a piece of shoe leather. He is a walking reminder of the forged men who manned the steel mills in his hometown of Steubenville, Ohio. The other was a pitching prodigy born in Maracay, Venezuela. At 31, he still looks about 25. He’s blessed with an array of pitches and talent, he’s thrown a no-hitter and is in the middle of an $80 million contract.

But they are locked together through a bond that every parent fears and hopes to avoid. Their shared union has been built through tears and tragedy, coping and understanding, loss and remembrance.

With one out in the seventh inning, Anibal Sanchez’s day was done. He’d thrown his 113th pitch on the sun-drenched afternoon at Safeco Field for the Tigers and left his team with a 5-4 lead. He walked off the mound.

This time, he looked toward the third-base coach’s box for the first time in the game. Rich Donnelly was standing there, looking right back. Both men gave a quick nod to the other. It was all that was needed in that situation. They’ve shared enough hugs in their friendship.

Just making this up. Would you trade McCann, Moya, Farmer and Machado for 2 months of Cueto and one year plus of Chapman? The Reds catcher is Bryan Pena. They could use an upgrade and Moya, Farmer and Machado seen to be Detroit's top prospects.
