Bat vs Knife

Have we started this thread yet?

Well I just left the emergency room. I got stabbed twice tonight and if I had a bat (& the foot speed to catch the motherfucker as he scurried away), I would've ended his entire world. I would definitely be up for murder chargers right now. 9 staples in one wound 7 in the other.

Once they catch him, I'm thinking of dropping the charges and waiting for him outside the police station0 with a bat. (& a knife)

LANSING – A customer stabbed a bouncer who had removed him from a bar in the 200 block of South Washington Avenue early today, according to police.

The unidentified bouncer was stabbed twice in the back but his wounds were not life-threatening, said police Sgt. Kevin Kilbourne.

"It appears the (bar) employees had removed the accused and some of his cohorts from the establishment and once outside is when the confrontation occurred," Kilbourne said.

The unidentified assailant fled. He was described as about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and of slender build.

The bouncer was treated at a local hospital after the attack, which Kilbourne said occurred around 1:35 a.m.

How about a bat with a knife duct taped to the end of it?

That said, if someone swings a bat at you, there's a chance you can catch it (and probably fuck up your hand in the process, but still). If someone swings a knife at you, at best you're getting defensive wounds.

Just a little side action during my slow period for sports, my friends are the managers. Gotta take a hard look at my moonlighting profession though. Might be about time that I go ahead and get a grown folks job.

Story:

3 people (2 guys, 1 girl) were thrown out. I wans't present for that. I did see them very aggressively trying to get at our security guy who works the door. I came over to help and it looked to calm down. One of the guys was a little aggressive but was agreeing with me as I was talking to him and letting him know there was really nothing to gain by continuing to come at us and the door. They kind of went away but the girl kept coming back, they even let her in for some reason I'm not sure of. At some point the taller guy (one who stabbed me) came at our guy at the door and was forced back. Our door guy at that point took off to go grab the GM. Apparently the guy had threatened to stab him. I didn't know this though. The guy who threatened to stab him was dragged away (possibly by friends, not by us). He was much farther away than the other two. It was decided at that point that we were done for the night, no one back in. Of course everyone outside that had nothing to do with it was trying to get in and yelling at us. At this point the guy who didn't stab me and the girl were all in our faces. The guy, again, kind of seemed to understand the situation was over and it was time to take off as their was really nothing good to happen for them. The girl was in some kind of rage and was doing the dumb drunk 'we're pressing charges' routine. At some point she got hyped up enough to press forward and take it to a next level. They both started pressing forward quite a bit. Stabber is still much farther away but talking a lot, but I can't hear him. At the point they pressed forward I moved the girl and the guy back through the crowd because they were way too aggressive. I went back to the door after that but they still came back, along with everyone who was trying to get in. As I'm focused on all of them the original guy who had been kicked out (stabber) runs up behind me and hits me twice in what I can only call a prison like stabbing motion and runs away faster than Usain fucking Bolt. I didn't know I was stabbed at that point. We go back inside and start trying to get everyone out. I tell the door guys and other people around me, "I think that dude tried to stab me" and I wiped my hand around where he hit me and I didn't feel anything. This is when the other door guy lets me know that the guy threatened to stab him. 5-10 minutes pass and we're clearing everyone at some point I look at my hand and realize there's blood all over it. The reality sets in and go back to the kitchen, which has bright lights, to take a better look. Pull my clothes off to check the area and I have gaping hole in my hip. Not much to tell after that. Lots of cops, emt's, questions, needles, staples...

Call me a Neanderthal, but if given the option of this guy going through the court system or allowing me to get my hands on him, I'd choose the latter. Him still breathing afterward is not an option.

Thanks. It was a really fun game. There was an older Michigan State fan sitting in front of us, and he took time to shake our hands on the way out, say great game, and wish us luck in the big tourney. We returned the wishes. Classy guy.

MSU is going to be a tough out this year, as they seem to be pulling it together like Izzo generally does.

As for the eat shit, fuck you chant, UW fans yell that at each other. It grew out of the tastes great less filling thing in the 80s.
