Is it easy to win four bucks?  I buy $50 worth of tickets for every Powerball drawing. When the numbers are drawn, I give the tickets to my friend Eddie and ask if they're winners. So far, I've struck out. I just want to know how unlucky that makes me.

This is kind of cool. Former Spartan Domata Peko’s father-in-law sold the winning ticket at his gas station. The guy gets a million for being the seller.

Probably just a glitch. Give Eddie your bank account # so he can direct deposit your winnings.

So, I always buy a ticket when I leave Kroger in one of those machines if I have a couple bucks in my pocket. I play fantasy five and do the double match play. Sometimes I match one number for two or three bucks and am happy because it’s a break even type thing.

Today I get home and this happened. Have any of you ever seen this before? Every number is a match? WTF.

No. It’s always there. On the machine it gives you the choice of just playing two bucks and getting two lines of numbers that might be chosen, or playing two bucks getting one line of numbers but then they throw out five numbers on the bottom and if one of your numbers matches theirs you win the amount next to that number. I’ve won, 3 bucks, 2 bucks one time I won 10 bucks. But it’s usually just one number matched out of 5. I’ve never had all five numbers match like that.

Dwags,

I bought a Lotto 47 on Friday. I've never bought one before. I assumed it was just going to be a regular lotto (mega, powerball). But there's Double Plays and EZmatch. Pretty sure I said yes to them all. I don't understand the rules.

Here are today's numbers:

Regular: 4 10 18 26 40 46
Dbl Play: 3 18 26 34 41 47
EZMatch: 46

Am I rich Dwags?

Some lady won six million on a $50 scratch off at Perch’s in Alpena. I go there a couple times a week for the salad bar. Guess I should have been buying lottery tickets. Hope the owner Terry shares the wealth with the staff. He’s a nice guy. I bet he does.

I honestly don’t know how the double match works. I only play the fantasy five and for two bucks they give you two sets of numbers and if any match you get the amount by that number.

Then I’ll play power ball and mega millions. That costs two dollars per pick.

Likely more 40% to the feds/state.  I'd take the payouts if younger.

39% to the Feds

4.6% to Michigan

PB jackpot is $1.2 billion. If you take the cash upfront and factor in taxes, it comes to $4.35. That’s enough to get another couple of powerball tickets.
