It was orchestrated by the pot head unbeknownst to any authority figures. That doesn't excuse the authority figures of blame completely, but it certainly is not the same as Dwayne Stephens handing Sherman the rubber at the direction of Izzo.

Also, there was no damage in terms of penalties from the NCAA and in hind sight looks like Izzo dealt with it well by booting a few players.

He needs to get over it. We had a team that wasn't that tight-knit and played a style that he didn't enjoy playing and his MSU career didn't play out like he thought. He ended up having a nice finish at ND and MSU did well, too.

I don't see why he needs to keep bringing this up. Just makes him look bad at this point.
