I maintain that McCoy is more 4 than 5. However I've recently seen a video that gives me confidence in his ability to man the low block. He's versatile enough to play both positions but will be a 4 in the NBA.

Hit me today, Ward's best NBA comp is Dejuan Blair. Who seemed to have success for a few years and then fizzled out. He was also a 6'8ish back to basket force with a 7'2 wingspan. Blair left after his soph year.

Playing on a crowded court of elite college prospects, Jackson was clearly the best player on the floor. He was on another level -- a deft combination of inside-outside skills nicely packaged in a 6-foot-10 frame. At the time, in those ever-scrutinized recruiting rankings, Jackson was at No. 22 overall in the 247Sports Composite, which equally weighs rankings from all major recruiting services.

Jackson's coach, La Lumiere's Shane Heirman, was approached by an enterprising reporter.

On Wednesday, Scout.com updated its 2017 class rankings following the 2016-17 basketball season. Scout's analysts previously ranked Jackson at No. 28 among his peers.

Jaren Jackson Jr. is ranked as the No. 5 overall player in the 2017 class in Scout's updated ranking.

"It's an uncommon leap to make that type of move into the elite range this late," Evan Daniels, Scout's Director of Basketball Recruiting, told MLive on Wednesday.

I hope Izzo and staff get one or two players they are still pursuing but as a fan I'm doing ne trying to attach any logic to recruitnik thinking.

Just show the fans the list of HS players who signed their LOI's.
