Weak links for CFB's top contenders.

The Spartans’ defensive prowess under departed coordinator Pat Narduzzi can’t be denied: From 2011 to 2014, Michigan State ranked among the top 10 nationally in total defense, the longest streak in the nation. Last year, though, that lofty ranking came with an asterisk: In three games against ranked opponents, the Spartans were burned to a crisp, first by Oregon (46 points, 491 total yards), then by Ohio State (49 points, 568 yards), and finally by Baylor (41 points, 583 yards) in the bowl game, when Bryce Petty set a Cotton Bowl record with 550 passing yards.

Ohio State has too many cooks. Good thing we just have one.

Our cook is on the Eagle Council, though. I bet he could build a mean boxcar racer.InTenSity wrote:All 3 of their cooks are captains. Ours isn't.Giant Moose wrote:Ohio State has too many cooks. Good thing we just have one.

Maybe, but that is why he isn't a captain. Wasting time building cars when he should be breaking down film and screaming at teammates.Giant Moose wrote:Our cook is on the Eagle Council, though. I bet he could build a mean boxcar racer.InTenSity wrote:

He should have mentioned God more. Our QBs who mention God always get voted captain.InTenSity wrote:Maybe, but that is why he isn't a captain. Wasting time building cars when he should be breaking down film and screaming at teammates.

nothing warms my heart more than public expressions of love of God. These fine young men deserve to be captain.Giant Moose wrote:He should have mentioned God more. That's another issue. He's an early 20 something QB at a B!G school and he's probably thinking about girls and getting laid. Not fosuced enough.Giant Moose wrote:He should have mentioned God more. Who is going to be the quote machine on the current staff? Narduzzi had so many classics.

Dantonio will probably continue to have good ones. Wasn't there a recent PC and someone noted that he wasn't really answering the questions, in which he quipped back, 'I'm getting better, then'.steveschneider wrote:
