Whatever is high in protein. Protein + carb if you're looking to gain weight, which is why chocolate milk is good option.

Muscle MilK, NO Explode, Protein shake, Monster Energy Drink, PharmaFreak Amino Freak™ Tablets, Accelerade, followed up by a round of kidney dialysis.
Seriously, I just drink some water.

Here's a smoothie designed to give your body what it needs to heal muscles. It should be ingested within an hour of your workout:
8 oz milk
1 banana
1 packet of Instant Breakfast
1 TBS of peanut butter
It tastes good, and you know what's in it without deciphering an ingredient label.

Here's a better one
Blend One serving of instant oats (i like to pre-blend)
Add to blender
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 banana
1 scoop protein powder (best flavor I've used was cookies and creme, vanilla works as well)
Sprinkle of cinnamon
1 cup milk
Blend ingredients together
