to suggest Cook enjoys being a "celebrity" and doesn't work hard enough at actual football,

One of my buddies had just recently become single and a group of us were out at Dublin. Said buddy starts dancing with a good looking girl, not the hottest, but nothing to scoff at. Things ate going well. Drinks are flowing. Night progresses, and evidently the drinks kept coming because we all decided to go to Ricks. To our disbelief, the buddy actually got the girl to follow him to Ricks.

Guy never had much game, so all of us were shocked/excited for him. We get to Ricks, get a couple shots down. He and the girl get a "dance" in. After the song ends they're standing there for a bit and notice Cook up on the stage.

He points at the girl and motions for her to come over. She drops my buddy like a bad habit and is never seen from again.

He hates Cook. Cracks me up every time I think about it.

All he does is win. Like a lot of people, I'm concerned about Bama's DL. You just know they'll be looking to pound CC into the ground, onto his sore shoulder, early in the game. The OL line had to hold off those monsters long enough for AB and others to get some separation from AL's coverage. I don't know anything about the Alabama secondary, but if they're as good as Iowa's, it could be a long night unless Cook can get off quick, short passes.

Will be curious to see if Bama will take a couple of late hit penalties to get Cook a little anxious.

lol, I tried opening some pages on walterfootball (who?) and it's barely operational.

I wouldn't put much stock in Walter Football. He provides a lot of content for free but he is just some kid from PSU that likes the NFL a lot.

The captain stuff is crap. He could slip with the questions about his lingering injury, but it's not like he doesn't have a chance to go out and show what he's capable of in the workouts.

Cousins slipped pretty far when he was drafted, we all know the story. Wonder if that will enter into the thinking of teams this draft, MSU is certainly developing a track record for developing QB's that can play in the league.

Was Cousins ever predicted that high to begin with?  As I recall most draft analysis were that the Redskins picked him earlier than expected.

I could be wrong, though I thought some had him as high as 2nd round. They may have all been on tRCMB lol.
