I only saw the kiss, and didn't have any problem with it. But one of my gay buddies actually didn't like it. His texts:

NFL Network actually showed ESPN's coverage of "the kiss" shortly after it happened. I don't think anything Sam did was shameful, but ESPN's over-coverage of it is. One shot of it "in the moment" was fine. But today they're showing zoomed-in, slow-mo replays. That's a bit much at this point. We all know what a kiss looks like.

But this is nothing new. They do this with any story that has any legs at all. When Tim Tebow was running wind sprints with his shirt off, they had an entire news crew at the Meadowlands to cover it.
