Beat 4 top 20 teams
Of the 4 top 20 teams only one home game.
Oh yeah, they did that on crutches pretty much another great year.

Personally, I think they deserve to be. I don't think head-to-head should be the primary factor. They won their NY6 bowl game, and their only loss was 17-14. We have two losses and one was a blow out.

I agree, but I don't think it should be the primary factor. I can see how someone would keep MSU #3 but I can also see how someone would drop us to #6 and have Ohio State pass us. Rankings are different than standings.

So Ole Miss should have been ahead of Alabama as well? I think you know that more than head-to-head has always factored into rankings but you got upset that I pointed out that MSU has lost a lot in the Final Four and want to argue.

I don't know.. just kind of figured it out one morning when I was shoveling snow.

I figured if we beat Ohio State on the last play of the game... and we beat SCum (god I hate them for that they did to my family) on the biggest fluke play of the college football season.. and they drilled SCum.. and beat ND by a substantial margin.. and their only loss was to us.. on the aforementioned last play of the game.. and we had two losses, as I documented above...

seems like pretty easy mathematics. Even for an MSU grad like myself.

also, it seems like the voters agree with me.. so I'm probably not as uninformed as I think I am.

again - I'm glad we're all allowed to have opinions at tSwill.. Finish #6 in AP 3493939353

You sound like the voters, who didn't watch the osu game. Had the field goal been missed it was going to overtime.
MSU was going to block that punt even if it was a clean catch amd kick.

I know OSU was ranked higher than us. But I also know we're better than them, we beat them at their place, we won the conference and they came in third.

OK.

I remember when Big Brown was the greatest horse to ever live four or five years ago. Won the first two legs of the tripple crown. Got beat in the third.

You can call him anything you want at this point, just don't call him tripple crown winner.

All things being equal. I'll give OSU the #4 we can keep the #6 with a victory over them and a conference championship.
