Hearing from a lot of Bernie supporters that they will not vote for Hillary. When I ask if this would hold true if Trump was the R nominee, they say yes. They cite the DNC - who they feel will deliver the nomination to Clinton - as being the reason why.

Yeah, but they haven't been confronted with the imminent threat of a trump presidency. Come November, they'll swallow they're pride and vote for hildawg

We will see. Do you think all the Rs saying they will not vote for Trump would actually vote for Trump if it meant keeping Clinton out of the White House?
Edit: This thread got moved but the Trump thread is still on the front page of the main board. So now we know who the mods are voting for.

I do live in a state where I could risk voting for an independent  and the democrat will still carry it. That being said I think a strong message needs to be sent that a Trump presidency is unacceptable. I do not want to send off the wrong message to any fellow Bernie followers in swing/battle ground states that they should cast a vote that could cost the Democrats and benefit Trump.
Turtle is correct, a lot of Bernie supporters I know won't vote for Hillary. I strongly believe that's the wrong move, but I have faith that the majority of us will vote against Trump in November.

He might not pass a bill, but he'll have access to the red button. I'm honestly not afraid to die at this point in life, but I do care about the future generations and this beautiful blue planet.

Oh, Steve. Have you ever read an OTPT post? He is the next generation. Or a Travis post? Those guys are going to make it worse and not better. Might as well blow it up and start over.

Wait until Trump orders the construction of tent city jails across the country and sets Heinrich Himmler's **cough cough** I mean Sheriff Joe Arpaio's jack boot thugs loose.

He's the only candidate addressing wealth inequality, breaking up the big bank and the shrinking middle class.

Just went to Websters Dictionary,
'c : activity or movement designed to effect fundamental changes in the socioeconomic situation'
Option c works for me.

What institutional changes will be taking place? Simply modifying existing institutions is not a revolution. So, no, Steve does not "got it" by citing the dictionary.

Re: #FeelTheBern part 2
I've been listening to a lot of Chris Hedges (it's depressing stuff) he's critical of the Sanders movement believing that real change can only happen outside of the system.
Probably right, but I do think Bernie is a great start. He's going to lose, the system is rigged against him but the conversation won't go away and sooner or later the left/right will find common ground and come together for change. We have no choice the system is too corrupt.

Doubt it.
The system was built to sustain a lack of participation and/or support. The system will be just fine.

Perhaps, but he thinks the country is ripe for a revolution and that another financial crisis/collapse is looming.
I'm not saying I agree with him, I'm taking in his stuff and the jury is still out.

I gotcha. He might be right that the country is ripe for a revolution but if this system does fail it will just be replaced by another system of human control and tax farming to be corrupted.

Complete disgrace in Arizona. Did the DNC rig the state for Hillary? DNC has already been caught with some dirty voting shenanigans in Massachusetts and Iowa.
I vowed I would vote for Hillary in November vs Trump but she is not making it easy at all.

I can't wait until we're in charge and you're in an old folks home. Otpt and I will personally light your home on fire, then run in and save your stupid worthless life just to prove home much you need us.
Then we'll kick you in the junk.
