Michigan's Greatest concerts
MLive has a story today with supposedly the 30 greatest concerts ever to happen in Michigan.
30 great concerts in Michigan history
I was at 5 of them but the list seems a bit sketchy to me.
1976 Who Silverdome
1977 Zeppelin Silverdome
1978 Seger Bay City
1981 Stones Silverdome
1985 U2 Joe Louis
The writer seems to be fixated on the Silverdome, those were great events but usually less than stellar concerts because of the acoustics.
I'd substitute Jethro Tull 1979, Olympia in this list - the last concert ever at Olympia and a great show.
And perhaps the 1980 "Black and Blue" tour with Black Sabbath and Blue Oyster Cult.
Any other suggestions?

Re: Michigan's Greatest concerts
Now for my freak out after reading the story. I was going through the comments
and yelled loud enough to startle the shit out of my daughter who happened to be here
visiting.
Someone posted these pictures of the 1978 Van Halen/Seger show at Bay City and I'm in them.
After years of telling people I was there and upfront there is now photographic evidence.

Bowie, Serious Moonlight Tour, Joe Louis.
Not really a Bowie fan but this concert was a spectacle.

What a stupid time to publish that article. Biebs plays at the palace in less than a month. They're going to have to redo the whole thing.

Re: Michigan's Greatest concerts
I went to A Perfect Circle concert at the Fox Theater in Detroit a few years back and it sucked. Maynard basically sang everything behind Iha in the shadows the whole time and said that instead of going off stage and coming back for an encore we'll just announce this is the last song we're playing. Good night!
Multiple fights broke out as everyone exited.

Is there just a list of the shows on one page?
