So much for money buying elections
Maybe this year is different. While we have seen more money than ever before, it has meant very little on how this election is playing out.

By comparison, at the end of the second quarter in 2012 all the candidates combined had spent around $180 million. In the entire 2012 election cycle, Super PACs spent $239 million. So 2016 has already broken all the records for the amount of money being spent on campaigns. This year's election will get measured in billions.
In short, money is often a signal of something meaningful in politics, and this year's election has a lot of money.

Are those space pictures, Turtleneck? Pretty cool. I'm amazed with what space mechanics can do with rockets and cameras these days.

Yeah too bad public financing went out the window after one candidate turned down the $90 million in favor of buying an election with $750 million.

But it is Hillary Clinton that is the horrible money grubber. Obama...well we just won't talk about that, Loose.

I'll die waiting for the progressive outcry over buying that election. Money is only bad in politics when they have less of it. And that goes for any politician.

But money is just free speech so I don't know why people get so worked up.
