Re: NBA Finals Thread
Steph and Klay missed some shots.
LeBron made a good block.
Kyrie hit a big 3 (when it seemed like neither team wanted to win it).
Cleveland won.
Any questions?

Should say the fix was in for a game 7. Games 5 and 6 looked like the NBA from the Bad Boys era where the officials ignored a lot of physical play that had not been seen all season. If the league regular season had been called the way games 5 and 6 were called the Warriors wouldn't have had 73 regular season wins and not been in the finals.

I'm sad they lost, because I like Draymond Green and I wanted him to win.

Splash Bros 6 for 24 behind the arc last night hurt quite a bit too, if not for Draymond last night....damn
No doubt. The Cavs were out manned last year. The Warriors still had a legitimate shot with who they had this year. Hockey and basketball playoffs are a battle of attrition too. That's a long hard year on the body.
Going for 73 was dumb. In all major sports the team that holds the most regular season wins has not won the championship that year. It's important to rest people too.

Wasn't that false until this year? Didn't the Bulls win when they broke the record?DWags wrote:I.B. Fine wrote:

Yes, and Lebron has way more miles on his legs than anyone on the Warriors, yet he somehow managed to get down the court and swat Iguodala's layup into next season.InTenSity wrote:Wasn't that false until this year? Didn't the Bulls win when they broke the record?DWags wrote:

Curry has been bad in back to back finals now.
If it werent for injuries, Cavs would have been B2B champs.

How did I know this was going to come up. Not just from you. Apparently the injuries to the Warriors don't count.

Do you learn a lot by uploading junior high games to YouTube? Nobody here thinks you even know what a basketball looks like. Now go out in the garage and break everything in a fit of rage.

Yes, it was. But now it's not. So, the fact is 100% of the time the team with the all time most wins in the season didn't win the championship.
It might not have a damn thing to do with it. It might. I can make an argument either way. I remember when the tigers went to their last world series they won the division 4 straight didn't they? Then they had all that time to "rest". well they looked like shit in the series. But my point is, it seems that maybe you might be burning out guys who need to have good legs. Like IB says though, didn't seem to bother Lebron.

Maybe WBH can even give me another speech about how the Warriors will dominate or how point spreads work or message board moderation. Lol

WBH is a real black mark on the history of this board.

Re: NBA Finals Thread
It's probably still there and unedited. I likely missed it because you don't know much about basketball. I mean, you are the poster who thought it was Peiking roll instead of pick & roll, and something you order at a sushi bar. After that we just kind of tuned you out on the basketball stuff. But it was funny.

Most of your posts (the really dumb ones) are being written by you.
The moderator generated ones might have some humor and wit to them (depending on the mod). I'll let you know if I see any of those...I mean if you're still here just checking on stuff, and not (also) making dumb posts...
