Department of Justice officials filed a motion in federal court late Wednesday seeking a 27-month delay in producing correspondence between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s four top aides and officials with the Clinton Foundation and Teneo Holdings, a closely allied public relations firm that Bill Clinton helped launch.

If the court permits the delay, the public won’t be able to read the communications until October 2018, about 22 months into her prospective first term as President. The four senior Clinton aides involved were Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Michael Fuchs, Ambassador-At-Large Melanne Verveer, Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, and Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin.


The State Department originally estimated that 6,000 emails and other documents were exchanged by the aides with the Clinton Foundation. But a series of “errors” the department told the court about Wednesday evening now mean the total has grown to “34,116 potentially responsive documents.”

During Clinton’s four years as America’s chief foreign diplomat, her aides communicated with officials at the Clinton Foundation and Teneo Holdings where Bill Clinton was formerly both a client and paid consultant, on the average of 700 times each month, according to the Justice Department filing.

Look, every investigation up to and including the most recent congressional GOP committee report concluded that HRC didn't do anything illegal. House vote 296-133 Including Waxman, Wexler, Markey & Kennedy voting aye.
Senate vote - 77-23 Including Kerry, Clinton & Schumer among the ayes.

All of them saw the same intelligence that Bush/Cheney saw. Perhaps the intelligence was incorrect, but to blame Bush/Cheney for that is a huge stretch and always has been.

PS I would have voted NO had I been a member of either body and especially would have voted no on the so called "good war" in Afghanistan. Any student of history would know getting involved in a land war in the middle east or asia is the height of stupidity.

You know it's been proven that they all knew the evidence we used to justify the war in Iraq was falsified right? Every top government official knew it was false including Powell who had to present it to the UN and look like a complete jackass/thrown under the bus after it was all proven false.

Also for the record what Hillary did with her e-mails was 100% illegal and anyone not named Clinton would have lost their job months ago.

Um yeah. I used to vote a straight republican ticket. Now I vote mostly democratic, sometimes green party, sometimes communist party and occasionally a republican. How cute is that?
