BTN to air 'Green and White Days' during Michigan State camp

CHICAGO -- Michigan State fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at their Spartans during fall practice this year.

Big Ten Network President Mark Silverman announced Tuesday from Chicago that the network will have cameras at Michigan State's fall camp for a show called "Green and White Days." A sort of spin-off of HBO's "Hard Knocks," the show will go all-access with the Spartans while MSU prepares to defend its 2015 Big Ten title.

Last year, Big Ten Network produced a similar show about the Ohio State Buckeyes.

"Green and White Days" debuts at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18. Last year's edition of the show ran for three episodes leading up to the season.

If they put the same production effort into this as The Journey it could be really good. I never watched the OSU version last year. Was it any good?

I believe the only reason we still have checks (according to my wife) is for things like East Lansing HS club/activities-type stuff..
