He's nearly the most important. I've seen more than one player comment that during the off season when the coaches are limited he's their only real contact with the program.

That was a great show. The first thing I thought is how you can throw out most of the pre-season analysis as soon as you see them hit the field for camp.
We might just have something special going that you can't see on paper but will when we start whooping ass on our opponents.

True story:
I actually watched about 3 minutes of this show the other evening. Some guys were paddle boarding.. some other guys were playing golf.. and I saw someone carrying a bag into a dorm room.

Some coaches chatting up about how Allen was cut. Some of these kids can make huge leaps in the off season. ND will be a real measuring stick. Did you see the hit by the true freshman safety in previews? Then someone yells daaammmnnnn.

Kenny Lyke.
This frosh class is absolutely loaded. Lukusa and Allen are going to be future studs on the OL. Both 3 stars . DL and WR class are absolutely nasty. And Lyke/Vance should be fine additions to the no fly zone. Nothing against Nicholson or Cox, but Lyke reminds me of a taller Isiah Lewis...safety that lays the boom stick on you.

Does anyone know what that interval drill is where a bunch of guys are puking? Is it simply 20 sideline to sideline and back runs? Id like to try it.

the older I've gotten, those are some of my favorite workouts.. nice long-ish, steady state warm up followed by shorter bursts of high intensity running.By-Tor wrote:Does anyone know what that interval drill is where a bunch of guys are puking? not only does it really improve your fitness level but also increases your resting metabolic rate fairly significantly. The key, though, is to make sure your body (from a musculo-skeletal, biomechanic standpoint) can handle the higher impact, explosive nature of the workout.

Yep. But they're timed. Pretty much every athlete has to do it in every sport. It's not the distance but the intensity af it picks up. I'm told it's a bitch.

That's Dantonio's place there. I grew up four football fields away from Lake Michigan in Manistee. Never appreciated it as a kid. Even as we'd be on the beach 16 hours a day. From swimming fishing to watchin the sunset building a fire and often sleeping down there. We'd be doing shit all day and yet we'd say to each other "I can't wait to leave this town, it's boring". Wtf? We were idiots. Left when I was 18 never went back save one summer. Now i love going up there and Ludington to take care of some things. Everything is relative. I bet Dantonio hardly ever gets up there.

Who wrote this?
".....year in '99. C-Rog was ineligible his freshman year in 2000, so while they would have all been on the 2000 team, they wouldn't have all played together."
I'd say somebody who pays a lot of attention to MSU football

MSU's Donnie Corley stars on final 'Green and White Days' episode
If Michigan State didn’t want much to be known about Donnie Corley, the Spartans better hope their upcoming opponents weren’t watching Big Ten Network on Thursday night.
Including a catch that resembled one of the greatest in program history.
The true freshman proved to be the clear star of the finale of the three-part “Green and White Days: Inside Michigan State Training Camp.” It was a short segment on Corley, but it showed exactly why MSU coaches and his teammates are excited about the new receiver.
