Nah, I'm happy for the fans. On a side note, the Lions moved into the top 4 franchises with the longest championship drought.

It's fine otpt. Just gotta bite the bullet for a little bit now, and a little bit next season, and then they are once again nothing but a regular team that no one cares about. The bandwagon goes away soon now that they won. They are no longer special.

Not at all. I'm happy for their fans and the city. I've some friends who just saw their most loved team win it all for the first time in their lives. It's been pretty great reading their comments on Facebook.

I just feel good for gHost. I think they are one of his 8 favorite MLB teams.

It has been annoying but in the end I think it is a win for all of us because we won't have to hear about this lovable loser crap ever again.

Sick of hearing about life long Cubs fans who don't know who players like Ron Santo, Billy Williams or Don Kessinger were, look clueless if you mention Jack Brickhouse, Milo Hamilton or Lou Boudreau.

Folks are geeked. The Cubs winning the WSC is like Charlie Brown seeing The Great Pumpkin. A lot of Cubs fans including myself were expecting another meltdown after the Davis HR tied the game.
