What college was that first email and last notice from?
optional test was from Yale
notice was from an NY university - Binghamton
Yale lists their Econ courses as 121,122, 125, 126, 131,132, 136
They don't list Econ 115. I wish they would have listed the pros name. Trying to find out who teaches Econ 115. Can't be that hard. But they don't list the class.

No Breutbart news has it at Yale. I googled headline. Many fox and breitbart newspapers going with Yale. None seem to have the class right. They have calc 115.

Re: Election Game 2016 - The political thread that Travis won't move
Steven Berry, I think.
Close as I can come to the professor who wrote the email. Seems two students had died last week on campus also. I don't know how close knit the campus is, or how upset anyone would be to the point of not taking an exam. But there is something called a "Dean's excuse" for getting out of the exam. I think some faculty wanted one as there were many students upset by the election and or the deaths. Too much reading, I just wanted to put a professor who taught an introductory econ class to the wide spread "poor snowflake" articles written by non main stream media. I'm not sure it's that guy, so don't go off trying to write emails to him. His name was used in one article.
Yale's policy
All 12 residential college heads joined Yale leaders in offering students the opportunity to talk individually or in a group about their feelings and thoughts after the election.
Yale’s dean’s excuse policy, as posted online, allows exemption only for situations of illness, death of a family member or “comparable emergency” such as varsity athletic events and the observance of religious holy days.

All those redneck misogynists who work in rural, routine labor jobs who probably haven't had a raise in 10 years voted for Trump.
Trump Was Stronger Where The Economy Is Weaker
Trump Was Stronger Where The Economy Is Weaker
In the months leading up to Tuesday’s vote, experts debated how much Trump’s support was driven by economic anxiety or by racism, xenophobia or other factors. These reasons are not mutually exclusive, of course, and the debate will continue long into Trump’s presidency. But county-level voting results suggest that economic issues underpinned at least some of Trump’s support.

Maybe they should ask what other motivating factors there could be that would cause voters to look past such reprehensible behavior?

Maybe "their country" is one that provides some for hope for economic opportunity, job security, and to feed their families without falling further into debt every month?
I'm just saying, it's possible they weren't voting out of hatred for people with different skin color or sexual preferences.

Let me guess, all of the Hispanics that voted for him, their sexism was stronger than concerns about racism against them. And all of the women that voted for him are so racist that it outweighed their disdain of his misogyny? That's just silly.
I feel I need to reiterate that I did not vote for him, before I get lumped in with a Trump supporter (FWIW, I wouldn't have voted for him regardless, but his sexism and hate mongering did switch me from simply not giving a fuck who won, to really not wanting Trump to win). But I'm just saying that it's silly to say that people voted for someone because of their worst qualities. That's like saying that the vast majority of people that voted for Hillary did so because they want high level government employees to be careless with classified information.
