IMO Let's Get Out of This Country is their best album.


My guitar player cousin is good friends with one of the guys from Ocean Blue since they were in middle school. My cousin used to spend part of her summers in Hershey, PA. My cousin is also good friends with Steve Vai and Vernon Reid. Steve Vai told her all about his contributions to PiL's generic "Album" which was masterful. Not many people knew - at the time - that Vai played guitar on that album.

I hung out with one of the guys from the band in the 90s in NYC once with my cousin. The one thing that struck me or was memorable was that the guy literally had thousands of CDs. I think they were with Sire Records at the time and he was saying that he basically gets their entire catalog free.

They clearly wanted to be the American version of the Smiths, but I still liked a lot of their stuff. Crash is a great song off Beneath the Rhythm and Sound. A Familiar Face off TOB has been kicking my ass lately.

FWIW, tomorrow is the first day of the two week period the Redskins can franchise tag Cousins, which seems is becoming a  remote possibility.  Cousins reps have let it be known they will file an immediate grievance if that happens, and I cannot see how he loses, as the CBA states:

I take it the author failed to see when they pointed out last night that Cousins has the highest completion rate in the league when under pressure.  And he is under pressure a lot.  Their offensive line needs some help.

I don't think they will fire Zimmer and I don't think Kirk makes too many mistakes. He's a little inconsistent. He makes some crazy unbelievable throws, and has some crazy unbelievable games, and he has some stinkers. I think he's a top 7 QB in the league. What QBs would you rather have? Here's a list: Rodgers, Brady, Brees. Definitively. Everyone else is pretty much up for debate. He's going to take flack because he's getting $70 mil.

Yeah I mean, he literally has done this for the first half of the season. It's not going to be good enough for the blood thirsty mouth breathing NFL fans and their media, but in many ways he's been better than Rodgers this season. Some of the shit he was doing earlier this year was jaw dropping.
