Way-Too-Early Big Ten Power Rankings: Ohio State leads the way into 2017

7. Michigan State: No program’s early projection looks as different from the year-end rankings as Michigan State’s, a direct reflection of faith that Mark Dantonio can right his ship in a hurry. The Spartans were one of the biggest disappointments in the league last season, but if that just turns out to be a development year for so many young players, Dantonio could have his team back in the mix quickly.

We have to play them at Minny next year. I assume we will be beaten to a pulp and it will take years to recover.

Just dont see any reason to list OSU over PSU. Especially after OSU just had 5 of their players declare for the draft and Barrett has shown regression.

Yeah, that is silly. PSU has just about everybody coming back including Barkley and McSorely.

Yeah their DE Sickles leaving is realy their only 'loss.' I guess one of their WRs too, but WRs are a dime a dozen. Allen, their stud CB or S forgot which he plays is coming back too.
Urban has ran the B1G, but I dont think he wins the East next year. If so, that would only be 1 B1G title for him in his first 6 years.

Interesting that they have PSU ranked ahead of OSU in the national top 25. Unless what they're saying is that PSU will get into the playoffs while OSU will win the conference (the reverse of what happened this year).
In any case, 7th in the conference is nothing to get excited about. The truth is that next season a total unknown, first because we don't have a proven QB, second because we don't have proven linemen, third because our defensive coaches aren't very good.

An unforgettable season in the Big Ten is officially over
This seems like a dubious way to begin the article.

We could buy a bunch of Chinese food, leave it out for a few days, throw it in a King Size bed, and all fuck in it - then eat the food.
So fucking hot.

Or for our late 90s college and high school guys:
Have faith in Coach D!

I guess what I'm saying is it's smart of ESPN to play this cautiously. I actually think we'll do better than these projections suggest but ESPN can't predict that.

But you left out the rest of the sentence "and now its time to turn the page for the resurgent conference"
WTF?! Didn't the Big Ten go like 2-7 in bowl games? Or was this sarcasm?

The middle and the bottom of the big ten is fucking terrible, as always.
MSU just needs to beat the teams they are supposed to beat and then upset one of the big 3 from the East next year.
Losing to complete trash like Illinois and Maryland is unacceptable. Those teams have barf for QB play. In fact, the Big Ten is fucking inept at passing the ball. MSU needs to field a fucking secondary that isnt complete trash and you can bumble fuck your way to a winning season the offensively challenged league.
Look at Wisky...trash offense and QB play after trash offense and QB play...yet they win 10 every year because their defense doesnt allow them to lose to these bullshit teams.

PSU comes to EL after two weeks of UM and OSU...incredibly though to get up and jacked for 3 games in a row.
